Rearranged: $$ \lambda = \frac{1}{R_{\infty}\,Z^2\left(\frac{1}{n_1^2} – \frac{1}{n_2^2}\right)} $$

with \( R_{\infty} \approx 1.097373 \times 10^7 \, \text{m}^{-1} \).
