How It Works

The error degrees of freedom are computed as: $$ \text{df} = \text{Total Sample Size} – \text{Number of Populations}. $$

The p‑value is obtained by computing the tail probability of the Studentized Range (Q) distribution: $$ p = 1 – F_Q(Q; k, \text{df}), $$ where \(k\) is the number of populations.

Numerical integration (via Simpson’s rule) is used to approximate the CDF.
