T‑Score Calculator

T‑Score Calculator

Calculate the T‑score using: $$ T = \frac{x – \bar{x}}{SD/\sqrt{n}}. $$

* Enter the observed value (\(x\)), sample mean (\(\bar{x}\)), standard deviation (SD), and sample size (\(n\)).

Step 1: Enter Your Data

How It Works

The T‑score measures how many standard errors an observed value is from the sample mean.

It is computed as: $$ T = \frac{x – \bar{x}}{SD/\sqrt{n}}, $$ where:

  • \( x \) is the observed value,
  • \( \bar{x} \) is the sample mean,
  • SD is the sample standard deviation, and
  • \( n \) is the sample size.

Simply enter your data and click “Calculate T‑Score” to see how far your observation deviates from the mean in terms of standard errors.

Formula: \( T = \frac{x – \bar{x}}{SD/\sqrt{n}} \)
