Tukey’s HSD Test Calculator
Enter the number of groups, error degrees of freedom, MSE, sample size per group, and significance level.
HSD is computed as: HSD = q₍crit₎ × √(MSE/n), where q₍crit₎ is the Studentized Range critical value.
Step 1: Enter Parameters

e.g., 0.05
How It Works
This calculator first finds the critical value q₍crit₎ from the Studentized Range (Q) distribution such that:
\( F_Q(q_{\text{crit}}; k, \text{df}) = 1-\alpha \)
Then Tukey’s HSD is computed as: \( \text{HSD} = q_{\text{crit}} \times \sqrt{\frac{\text{MSE}}{n}} \)
