Should I calculate square footage before ordering concrete?
Yes, if you are starting from length and width. The concrete calculator can also take dimensions directly and convert them to cubic yards with an order allowance.
What is the difference between the gravel and concrete calculators?
Both estimate volume from area and depth. Concrete is usually ordered in cubic yards with mix and waste assumptions. Gravel also uses bulk density when you need tons.
